THE CHANCEL CHOIR
The Chancel Choir sing every Sunday at the 9:30 AM Holy Eucharist. The Choir’s primary role is to lead congregational singing, which includes traditional Anglican hymnody as well as more recent and ecumenical forms of liturgical music. On most Sundays the Chancel Choir sing an anthem offetory. During the distribution of Communion the choir sings hymns. The choir’s diverse repertoire includes early-American hymns, African-American spirituals, and music from non-Western traditions.
- This choir is open to those with some music reading ability.
- Rehearsals take place on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. in the choir room.
Grace’s music ministry supports the worship of the church on Sundays mornings and at other choral services and concerts throughout the year. The choir is led by Laura Hyatt.
